Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our drone services, pricing, regulations, data ownership, safety protocols, and more.

No. As the client, you do not need any drone licence or permit. AeroNexus holds all necessary Unmanned Aircraft Operator Permits from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). Our licensed pilots handle all regulatory compliance, flight planning, and airspace coordination on your behalf. You simply tell us what you need, and we take care of the rest.
Pricing varies depending on the scope, complexity, and type of service required. Factors include site area, number of flights, sensor type (visual, thermal, LiDAR), deliverable specifications, and turnaround time. We provide customised quotes for every project. Contact us for a free consultation and estimate tailored to your specific requirements.
Our standard turnaround is 24 hours from flight completion to final report delivery. This includes data processing, AI analysis, quality assurance, and professional report generation. For large-area surveys or projects requiring specialised analysis, turnaround may extend to 48-72 hours. Expedited delivery is available for time-critical projects.
AeroNexus operates primarily across Singapore and can serve sites in any part of the island, subject to CAAS airspace restrictions. We also undertake projects in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand through our regional network. For operations outside Singapore, additional lead time may be required for local regulatory approvals and logistics coordination.
Upon full payment, all raw aerial data (images, video, point clouds) captured during your project is owned by you. AeroNexus retains ownership of our proprietary tools, AI models, and report templates. We may retain anonymised or aggregated data to improve our analytics capabilities, unless you explicitly opt out. Full details are outlined in our service agreements.
Yes. AeroNexus carries comprehensive third-party liability insurance covering all drone operations. Our policy provides coverage up to SGD 1 million per incident, which meets or exceeds industry standards and CAAS requirements. Certificates of insurance are available upon request and can be provided to your risk management team prior to engagement.
Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are unsuitable for safe or accurate flight operations (heavy rain, high winds above 35km/h, thunderstorms, or poor visibility), we will postpone the mission and reschedule at no additional cost. We monitor weather forecasts closely and will notify you as early as possible if a reschedule is needed. Weather-related delays do not affect your deposit or project pricing.
We work with projects of all sizes — from a single rooftop inspection to multi-month construction monitoring programmes. There is no strict minimum, though we do have a base mobilisation fee that applies to all engagements to cover equipment preparation, travel, and regulatory coordination. Contact us for details specific to your project scope.
Our AI-powered reports are professional, client-ready PDF documents that include: an executive summary, annotated high-resolution imagery, automated measurements and volumetric calculations, change detection analysis (for repeat surveys), risk and anomaly flagging, and actionable recommendations. Reports are branded and formatted for direct use in client presentations, regulatory submissions, and project documentation.
Our training programmes range from 2-day introductory courses to 5-day advanced commercial certification programmes. All courses include classroom theory, simulator practice, and supervised hands-on flight hours. Upon completion, participants receive an AeroNexus certificate of competency. Our advanced programmes prepare students for the CAAS Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence examination. Visit our Training page for detailed course outlines and schedules.
Choose from our fleet of survey, inspection, and enterprise drones. Rentals are available on daily, weekly, or monthly terms. You can rent equipment only (if you have qualified pilots) or with a certified AeroNexus pilot. All rentals include pre-flight checks, equipment briefing, batteries, and basic accessories. Collection and return is from our Singapore facility. A refundable security deposit is required. Full details and pricing are available on our Rental page.
AeroNexus maintains a 99.8% flight safety record across over 500 completed missions. Every flight is preceded by a documented risk assessment and safety briefing. Our pilots follow strict standard operating procedures developed in line with CAAS guidelines and international best practices. We carry comprehensive liability insurance and conduct regular equipment maintenance and calibration. Safety is not just a policy at AeroNexus — it is fundamental to every operation we conduct.
